We may not get to play much cricket but we can still hope and one thing we are going ahead and planning, is President's Day.
Traditionally held on the Bank Holiday Sunday - this year the 30th August will see us welcome our new President - Peter Kay. We cannot thank Max and Paula enough for everything they have done and continue to do, for the club. Last year was a fantastic event - one we aspire to matching!
At the planning stage, we know this may not happen, but please do keep the date free! A club affair, we hope as many players, supporters, friends and family will be able to attend to watch the Junior game in the morning and Seniors in the afternoon. There will be the infamous BBQ at lunchtime run by the magnificent Friday BBQ crew and the evening will see something equally as scrumptious to help prep you for the evening ahead.
We plan on live music from one, maybe two bands and a comedian! So hopefully you will join in the fun and pull some shapes on the 'dance floor', sing along and laugh your socks off.
As always, volunteers are welcome - this is especially key in setting up and clearing down.
