Parr's the star for Sonning
Duncan Parr shone with the ball as Sonning recovered from a losing position to bring undefeated Premier Division leaders Woodcote down to earth in a tight 21 runs victory, finishing with figures of 6-29.
After Woodcote openers James Wheeler and Pete Roberts had put on 52 for the first wicket, set just 122 for victory, the leaders looked favourites for their fourth win of the season against their experienced campaigners, but Parr had other ideas.
Roberts was first to go when Parr had him stumped by Nigel Jackson and with Mark Richards sending down some accurate seamers the other end, clean bowling Paul Knox on 72-2, things looked brighter for Sonning.
Richards removed Holder the same way before trapping Andy Silver lbw for a duck.
Then Parr went through the middle order before Richards got the prized wicket of Wheeler (63) taking a return catch and leaving Parr to mop up the tail.
Richards picking up 4-23 in a lengthy spell.
Earlier Matt Baglow (37) had top scored for Sonning in a steady knock on a damp and difficult wicket, before Harvey Grout added an aggressive unbeaten 19 going in at number 9.
Richard Topham (4-22), Paul Knox (3-22) and Jonny Clark (2-26) all bowled economically for Woodcote.
