After winning the toss Sonning made a rather stuttering start and at and at 29 for 4 our dreams of reaching Lords seemed scupperd for another season. But thanks to good knocks of 48 and 25 by Benjo and Banjo respectively and a fine innings of 87no by Abbas we reached a good total of 213-7 off our 40 overs.
In reply a fine opening spell of 3-25 by Trout soon had Farley Hill reeling and despite a hard hitting 58 by T.Courtney Farley were never really in the hunt. The game rather petered out and ended in a comfortable win.
