A stunning all-round performance from Mark Richards helped Sonning grab the victory they needed over Theale & Tilehurst to capitalise on Woodcote's slip and move into second spot.
Batting first, T&T were restricted to 171 all out, with Mohammed Jamil (76). Richards (3-41) and Ghulam Abbas (4-34) did the main damage for the visitors.
Richards followed up by smashing a magnificent, unbeaten 101 to secure a six-wicket win and 30 points.
